Ricardo F. Reyes was born in Port-Of-Spain, in the country of Trinidad and Tobago. At age 12, his work was published in the Junior Express. At age 16, he won the Neehall prize for Art at Fatima College.
In 1991, Reyes moved to Miami, Florida, to attend the International Fine Arts College to earn an Associate of Arts Degree in Commercial Art. In his senior year he won best design for the Values and Virtues Game and won the award for best desktop publishing at graduation. Reyes also has two Bachelor of Science Degrees from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale majoring in Computer Animation and Web Design and Interactive Media.
Reyes has won several design awards that include four Silver Addy Awards, two Gold Awards from Create Magazine and the Miami Herald's "Up and Comers" Small Business Award for North Miami Beach.
